Procedures, Workflow, and Integration:  Complete integration of Enterprise GIS with Planning/Building Community Development application (formerly TrakIT) (Infrastructure; Fiscal Sustainability; Fostering a Positive Organization Culture; and Preserving and Cultivating Public Trust)  Integrate the new addressing database with TrakIT, and Police and Fire dispatch systems (Infrastructure; Enhancing Public Safety; and Fostering a Positive Organization Culture)  Integrate Enterprise GIS with City website (Infrastructure; Community Engagement and Messaging; Supporting our Community) Software:  Update and make user-requested enhancements to internal web map (CityMaps) (Enhancing Public Safety; Supporting our Community; Fostering a Positive Organizational Culture)  Complete implementation of internal and external GeoHub application which will include a public access data download portal (Fostering a Positive Organizational Culture; Supporting our Community, Preserving and Cultivating Public Trust)  Complete migration to the next generation desktop software (ArcGIS Pro) through staff training and coordination with IT teammates (Infrastructure) Infrastructure:  Work with departments and IT teammates to maintain and refine single sign-on (SSO) authentication for GIS applications (Infrastructure) Training:  Selected users will receive targeted training in GIS to support the improvement of key datasets and mapping for user departments (Supporting our Community; Fiscal Sustainability; and Fostering a Positive Organization Culture) Financial Comments Because GIS services are provided citywide, the GIS Division was established within an internal service fund. As an internal service fund, GIS will accumulate costs related to providing GIS services, which will be allocated to various City departments based on their estimated usage of GIS resources.
