SPORTS Camps

MULTI-SPORT CAMP (BASEBALL, BASKETBALL & FLAG FOOTBALL) Multi-Sport programs are designed to introduce young athletes to a variety of different sports in one setting Athletes will learn the rules and essential skills of each sport, along with vital life lessons such as sportsmanship and teamwork Participants should wear appropriate clothing and running shoes, bring two snacks a water bottle and sunscreen All children receive an award certificate, Skyhawks t-shirt and ball Instructor: Skyhawks Staff Location: Community Park, Baseball Fields Activity# Date Day Time Age Sessions SSK018 8/1-8/5 M-F 9am-12pm 7-12yrs 5 Fees: $195 / CRC Member: $185 MINI-HAWK CAMP (BASEBALL, BASKETBALL & SOCCER) This multi-sport program was developed to give children a positive first step into athletics Sports are taught in a safe, structured environment filled with encouragement and fun Through games and activities, campers explore balance, hand/eye coordination and skill development at their own pace Participants should wear appropriate clothing and running shoes; bring two snacks, a water bottle, and sunscreen All children receive an award certificate, Skyhawks t-shirt and ball Instructor: Skyhawks Staff Location: Community Park, Baseball Fields Activity# Date Day Time Age Sessions SSK019 8/1-8/5 M-F 9am-12pm 4-7yrs 5 Fees: $195 / CRC Member: $185 FUTSAL SOCCER CAMP Our Futsal Camp is back! We have adapted our fantastic curriculum to work alongside the most up to date county guidelines Futsal is fun, fast-paced, and played on an area the size of a basketball court using a small, size 3, low-bounce ball Players of all levels follow our innovative age-specific curriculum to improve individual technical ability Passing, dribbling, shooting, and learning new skills will be the focus of the sessions Athletic shoes and shin guards are required Please bring water bottle and snack Instructor: Futsal Kingz Staff Location: Centennial Recreation Center, Gym - INDOOR Activity # Date Day Time Age Sessions SSK004 6/20-6/24 M-F 9am-12pm 6-12yrs 5

TENNIS CAMP: BEGINNER/ INTERMEDIATE CLASS FOR YOUTHS

The tennis camp’s objective is to continue building a foundation of students already hitting with the orange ball Lower compression balls, orange, are used at the start Students are trained to develop ball control, motor skills, footwork, and strokes The intermediate class continues with advance techniques and movement and progresses to using the green dot or yellow ball Instructor: Al Ganir Location: Community Park, Tennis Court #8 Activity# Date Day Time Age Sessions SSK009 6/20-6/24 M-F 9am-11am 8-13yrs 5 Fees: $220 / CRC Member: $210 TENNIS CAMP: TINY TOTS The objective of this camp is to develop a sound foundation of skills and understanding of tennis in the beginner child Low compression balls, red balls, are used Children are trained to develop ball control, motor skills, footwork, and strokes It’s possible for the class to transition to orange balls by the end of camp Instructor: Al Ganir Location: Community Park, Tennis Court #8 Activity# Date Day Time Age Sessions SSK010 6/20-6/24 M-F 4pm-4:30pm 5-7yrs 5 SSK011 7/11-7/15 M-F 4pm-4:30pm 5-7yrs 5 Fees: $105 / CRC Member: $95 BASKETBALL (OUTDOORS) This fun, skill-intensive program is designed for beginning to intermediate players Using our professional curriculum, we focus on the whole player - teaching sportsmanship and teamwork Boys and girls will learn the fundamentals of passing, shooting, ball handling, rebounding and defense through skill-based instruction and small-sided scrimmages Participants should bring a water bottle and several snacks All participants receive an award certificate, Skyhawks t-shirt and ball Instructor: Skyhawks Staff Location: Community Park, Outdoor Basketball Courts Activity# Date Day Time Age Sessions Campers will learn the fundamentals of swinging, putting, body positioning, etiquette and keeping score The program is specifically designed for the entry-level player, simplifying instruction so that young players can make an easy and effective transition onto the golf course All equipment provided Participants should wear appropriate clothing and shoes; bring snacks, a water bottle, and sunscreen All participants receive an award certificate and Skyhawks t-shirt Instructor: Skyhawks Staff Location: Community Park, Baseball Fields Activity# Date Day Time Age Sessions SSK017 7/25-7/29 M-F 9am-12pm 5-8yrs 5 Fees: $195 / CRC Member: $185 SSK016 6/27-7/1 M-F 9am-12pm 7-12yrs 5 Fees: $195 / CRC Member: $185 BEGINNING GOLF CAMP
