CODING CLUB AGE: 8-12 Let's meet weekly and code together. In this class, students can choose between Scratch coding and VR VEX robotics coding. Beginners will use a block- based programming language while experienced coders can use python language to program virtual robots. Students will get plenty of opportunities to exercise their creativity and imagination. They will write code to make interesting games, animations, algorithms, and stories. Beginners to experienced all skill levels are welcome. Students who took this class before are encouraged to enroll; they will get to work on all new coding projects this session. In this class, students will be introduced to text-based coding using turtle graphics in python. They will write code to create artistic designs, games, and animations. Coding concepts such as python syntax, loops, conditionals, variables, and logical operators will be covered.The emphasis will be on boosting students' creativity and problem-solving skills. No prior coding experience is necessary; Beginners to experienced all skill levels are welcome. This is a night you can leave your child knowing they will be safe and have a great time while you have an enjoyable evening out! Your child will be in the responsible hands of the Kids Club staff. Each session is based on a particular theme with games, food, and activities according to the theme. This is a Drop off program. Children learn basic tap dancing at an easy going, age appropriate tempo. Encourages creative expression and helps build self-confidence. Tap sessions include dance warm-ups and combinations. Attire: Leotard and tights, or tee shirt and athletic pants/tights, and tap shoes.
