ADAPTIVE HOLIDAY CHEER

AGE: 12/UP

These programs are designed for youth and adults with disabilities. Join us for crafts and games and visit with Sensitive Santa! Quietly meet him. This event is open to ages 12 and up. There is no charge for parents or caregivers to attend these events. Instructor: Chiquy Mejia and Youth Action Council Leaders Location: Centennial Recreation Center, Teen Center Tu 12/16 06:30 PM-08:30 PM Fee: $10.00 CRC Member: $10.00 ADAPTIVE HANG OUT ON WEDNESDAYS GRADE: 6-12 This program is designed for teens with disabilities. Every Wednesday, there will be multiple-choice or specific activities to do. Also, participants will be able to use the different equipment that the Teen Center offers, such as ping pong and pool tables, computers, and video games. Bring your friends or meet new friends. A parent must remain on the premises for the duration of the program. All teens are welcome! Instructor: Teen Center teammates Location: Centennial Recreation Center, Teen Center We On-going 04:00 PM–08:00 PM Fee: Free CRC Member Free ADAPTIVE OUTDOOR SCAVENGER HUNT AGE: 12/UP Join us for a fun outdoor end-of-summer celebration with a scavenger hunt, music, and free-choice activities. Registration is required. Instructors: Youth Action Council Leaders and Chiquy Mejia, Recreation Coordinator Check-in location: Community Park Stage BBQ Area Non-Member/CRC Member: $10 per participant. ADAPTIVE HALLOWEEN DANCE PARTY AGE: 12/UP Join us for fun beats and dance the evening away. There will be music, an art project, balloons, and face painting. Dress up is optional. Your friends are welcome too! This dance is designed for youth and adults (12+) with disabilities. There is no charge for parents or caregivers to stay at this event. Register in advance to secure your spot. Instructor: Chiquy Mejia and Youth Action Council Leaders Location: Centennial Recreation Center, Multipurpose Room Fr 10/03 06:30 PM-08:30 PM Fee: $10.00 CRC Member: $10.00 ADAPTIVE SOCIAL CLUB ON TUESDAYS This program is specifically tailored for adults (14+) with disabilities. It takes place twice a month and features a variety of engaging activities. There will be activities with multiple-choice options and complete specific tasks. Participants will have access to equipment at the Teen Center, like ping pong and pool tables, computers, and video games. Come with your friends or make new ones!
