VR ROBOTICS CODING CAMP In this camp, students will get to code their own robotics adventure They will learn coding fundamentals by programming virtual VEX robots Using a block-based programming language, they will teach virtual robots to perform tasks like solving mazes, making art, and cleaning the ocean Students will develop problem-solving skills by breaking a task into smaller parts, testing, and debugging the code This camp will provide a great exposure to robotics, coding, and AI At the end of the camp, students will solve a robo challenge by applying the skills that they learned so far and earn prizes Instructor: AllCode Academy Location: Centennial Recreation Center, Computer Room Activity# Date Day Time Age Sessions SSK065 6/26-6/30 M-F 9am-12pm 8-10yrs 5 Fees: $300/CRC Member: $290 SPACE THEMED CODING ADVENTURE Get creative and code a space-themed story, game, animation, or art using Scratch Programming Write code to navigate a moon-rover to its destination, make your own imaginary spacesuit, or build a space city Students will exercise their imagination to create their own sprites using online art tools Along with learning computer programming basics, this camp will boost students’ creativity, imagination, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills At the end of the camp, students will solve a coding challenge by applying the skills that they learned so far and earn prizes Instructor: AllCode Academy Location: Centennial Recreation Center, Computer Room Activity# Date Day Time Age Sessions SSK066 7/10-7/14 M-F 9am-12pm 8-11yrs 5 Fees: $300/CRC Member: $290 GAME DESIGN AND CREATIVE ART CODING CAMP Don't just consume technology, but create it! Learn JavaScript, a computer programming language, while making games and digital art In this camp, students will be introduced to text-based programming and creative coding using P5 JavaScript JavaScript is a versatile language and coding with the p5 js library presents endless possibilities of what students can create Students will learn computer programming fundamentals such as conditionals, loops, functions and objects Beginners to advanced, all levels are welcome On the last day of the camp, students will solve coding challenges and will receive prizes upon completion Instructor: AllCode Academy Location: Centennial Recreation Center, Computer Room Activity# Date Day Time Age Sessions SSK067 7/17-7/21 M-F 9am-12pm 10-14yrs 5 Fees: $330/CRC Member: $320

SPY ACADEMY From decoding messages to metal detectors and night vision, campers check out spy tech equipment and take-home lots of gadgets! Step into the shoes of a detective as you uncover the science involved in evidence gathering and analysis! Figure out the science of forensics and reveal who is behind those crazy capers! Become a super spy and learn clever ways of performing tasks as we take a hands-on view of the science that spies and detectives use!
