TENNIS: TEEN The objective of this class is to continue building a sound foundation of students already hitting with the green dot or yellow ball Students are trained to develop ball control, motor skills, footwork, and strokes The intermediate class continues with advance techniques and movement and progresses to using the yellow ball Prerequisite: Must be able to rally, simple serve, play a match at a simple level with green dot or yellow ball

How to hit the tennis ball is important But moving to hit the ball, recovering, and preparing to hit the next ball is just as important This class addresses first step and movement, recovery step and movement, transition movement, net movement, and serve and return movement Plan on doing a lot of leg drills- running, sprints, hops, and shuffles Prerequisite: Have at least played matches recreationally
