WATER POLO This program is for 7–18-year-old athletes and accommodates all levels of players, experienced to novice. The 12and under players will learn basic water polo skills and further develop their game fundamentals. The 14 and up players will fine-tune their water skills and fundamentals and learn game tactics. Representing a partnership between the City of Morgan Hill and the Mt. Madonna YMCA, the Centennial Recreation Teen Center is designed to be a safe place for teenagers to hang out and have fun. Membership to the Teen Center is free to all Morgan Hill residents’ grades 6th-12th.

Aquatics RED CROSS LIFEGUARDING CLASS This class is designed to provide the skills necessary to be an effective pool lifeguard. Training includes CPR for the Professional Rescuer, Standard First Aid, Lifeguard Training. Students must pass a swim test on the first day of class. HELLO TEENS!! Do you know that you can earn community service hours by volunteering in the YAC 50+ Ball this year?

Saturday, April 13th, 2024, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the Community and Cultural Center (CCC) Tickets are $25 and available beginning February 5th at the Centennial Recreation Senior Center Welcome Desk. The 50 + Adult Ball is Youth Action Council’s most popular and exciting event where over 100 (50 +) adults and over 20 teen volunteer waiters/ waitresses have a great time together. This event promotes a sense of community with performances, dancing, souvenir pictures, food, and much more! Volunteer Opportunity for teens ages 13-19 can be part of this memorable event by contacting our YAC Advisor, Chiquy Mejia at 408.310.4253 or chiquy.mejia@mhcrc.com.
