JUNIOR LIFEGUARDING PROGRAM CAMP The Junior Lifeguard Program emphasizes Teamwork, Leadership, and Aquatic Safety while introducing young people to aquatic recreation opportunities The program is designed to provide quality water safety education while improving young people's physical conditioning, their understanding of pool facilities, and their respect for themselves, their parents, and their peers Upon completion of the Junior Lifeguard Program, participants are encouraged to volunteer during Summer Recreational Swim at the Morgan Hill Aquatics Center Further training will be provided to volunteers Prerequisite: Freestyle with side breathing (50 meters) and treading water (2 minutes) Instructor: Lifeguard Staff Location: Morgan Hill Aquatics Center Activity # Date Day Time Age Sessions SSD009 6/24-6/28 M-F 8am–12pm 12-14yrs 5 SSD010 7/15-7/19 M-F 8am–12pm 12-14yrs 5 Fee: $210 / CRC Member: $200 FUTSAL SOCCER CAMP Our Futsal Camp is back! SKYHAWKS BASKETBALL CAMP This fun, skill-intensive program is designed for beginning to intermediate players Using our progressional curriculum, we focus on the whole player - teaching sportsmanship and teamwork Players will learn the fundamentals of passing, shooting, ball handling, rebounding and defense through skill-based instruction and small-sided scrimmages Participants should bring a water bottle and several snacks All participants receive an award certificate, Skyhawks t-shirt, and ball Instructor: Skyhawks Sports Academy Staff Location: Community Park Outdoor Basketball Courts Activity# Date Day Time Age Sessions SSK011 6/24 - 6/28 M-F 9am-12pm 7-12yrs 5 Fees: $235 / CRC Member: $225 SKYHAWKS YOUTH QUIDDITCH CAMP This newly offered kid-friendly camp is aimed towards providing a fun and safe introduction to the magical sport of Quidditch! Through games and activities, participants will learn how to properly manage their broom, maintain good quaffle or bludger control, and work on their cardio with the snitch!
