The survey results for the Outdoor Sports Center were broken down by soccer and non-soccer events. As the results in the previous table show, for non-soccer events 25 percent of respondents were residents of Morgan Hill, while 26 percent of respondents are residents of Santa Clara County and 44 percent of respondents are from within the state of California, but outside of the San Jose-Sunnyvale-Santa Clara MSA. Most, if not all, of the respondents are likely day-trippers for each event. The likely overnight attendees for events are those coming from out-of-state, which represented approximately 5 percent of non-soccer attendees. For soccer events, 25 percent of respondents were Morgan Hill residents, while 32 percent of respondents were either residents of the County or MSA. Approximately 43 percent of respondents for soccer events come from the state of California, but outside the MSA and 1 percent of soccer event respondents were from out-of-state.
