CITY OF MORGAN HILL CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
304 - Local Drainage/Non AB 1600
Fund Description Local Drainage Fund (non-AB1600) revenues are received from developers of properties and the funds may be used for the design, construction, and maintenance of storm drains. How this Fund Generates Money for Capital Investment Fees are paid by developers of properties. Payments to this Fund are no longer as available as part of the Residential Development Control System (RDCS) competition, due to its elimination via State legislation. Minimal revenue will continue to be received for storm drainpipe front footage fees from developers. Funds will be programmed annually spending down the fund balance to accomplish projects.
Limitations and Other Important Factors These funds are for design, construction, and maintenance of the City's storm drain system.
Goals for Capital Investment The goals for the use of this fund are to improve existing storm drainage systems and to mitigate existing capacity deficiencies for property frontage.
