stop control is warranted. The final garage design should allow drivers in exiting vehicles to see pedestrians approaching on the adjacent sidewalk to minimize the potential for conflicts. Alternatively an audible and visual warning system should be installed to let pedestrians know of approaching vehicles. Within the garage appropriate signage/pavement markings should be provided to delineate right-of- way and to indicate areas with one-way circulation. While dead-end aisles are located on each floor of the garage and are not ideal from a circulation perspective, these areas serve a limited number of spaces and should be signed accordingly.
