Project Description Construction of storm drains, storm inlets, and other miscellaneous improvements at various locations in the city to address localized drainage problems. Many localized drainage problems lying in the Upper Llagas Creek watershed (and, thus, in the 100-year FEMA flood plain) are unable to be resolved with additional drainage facilities due to the limited capacity in the Upper Llagas Creek channel. For FY 2018/19, a concrete foundation will be installed at the Monterey Rd/Llagas Creek box culvert to prevent erosion. This request came from the Caltrans Structure Maintenance and Investigations Division. Caltrans can provide inspection services for bridge structures 20 feet or greater in span length, which also includes double box culverts.

Project Justification Local flooding can cause damage to public and private property and may present safety issues.
