Project Description The 2017 Water System Master Plan recommended multiple improvements to mitigate existing water system deficiencies, increase the hydraulic reliability of the existing system, or replace existing pipelines due to poor condition or operational considerations. This project consists of constructing ten water pipeline improvements recommended in the Master Plan. Project Justification The City's 2017 Water System Master Plan outlines the orderly construction of water system infrastructure intended to accommodate future growth, while maintaining adequate levels of service. In order to meet these level of service requirements, the Master Plan recommended the construction of these water pipeline improvements to mitigate existing capacity deficiencies, increase hydraulic reliability, and account for existing operational considerations. These pipeline improvements will provide adequate levels of service for existing customers. The cost for these pipeline replacements will be met with funds provided by water system rates.
