FY 2020-21 and 2021-22 Activity Goals • Continue to expand opportunities for the community to engage in public decision making and in community-based problem solving • Make decisions and set policy that ensure the City’s long -term fiscal sustainability and further the Council’s ongoing and strategic priorities

Financial Comments Stipends and group insurance for Council Members are included in this activity.

The Council’s budget includes funding for the following:

• Funding to accommodate membership and dues to the League of California Cities Peninsula Division (FY 2021 $16,897 FY 2022 $17,737), Santa Clara County Cities Association (FY 2021 $9,132 FY 2022 $9,589), Sister Cities (FY 2021 $641 FY 2022 $673), and Association of Bay Area Governments (FY 2021 $11,311 FY 2022 $11,877) • Funding to assist Boys and Girls Club Operations (FY 2021 $6,000 FY 2022 $3,000) • Funding to assist Healthier Kids Foundation in providing Child Health Care to qualified participants ($10,000) • Community Promotions funding has been allocated to support the Independence Day Celebration’s Freedom Fest ($15,000), Safe Trick -or- Treat ($3,000), the Kiwanis’ Holiday Lights Parade ($4,500), and the Morgan Hill Downtown Association Tree Lighting ($3,000) • Funding to assist Historical Society ($15,000) • Funding to assist South Valley Civic Theatre ($2,500)
