• Partnered with City, County and faith-based organizations to apply best practices for Homeless population (Ongoing Council Priorities: Enhancing Public Safety/Supporting Our Youth, Seniors and Entire Community) • Supported Chief in his role as president of the California Police Chief Association (2019 Council Strategic Priorities: Regional Initiatives) • Purchased Automated License Plate Reader /Approved Decision Package to replace existing non-functional LPR system to identify stolen vehicles within our community (Ongoing Council Priorities: Enhancing Public Safety) • Received Homeland Security Grant for the purchase of 2 incursion barriers.
