Financial Comments OES will continue to seek homeland security grant opportunities for EOC equipment, emergency response equipment, and EOC training. Through the Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) Morgan Hill OES secured $14,400 for an EOC video switch project and EOC laptops, this will be spent prior to the end June 30, 2020. Due to the anticipated budget deficit as a result of the COVID-19 Shelter in Place Order, the Emergency Operations Division will suspend all outside training and conferences for this division during Fiscal Years 20-21 and 21-22. Costs associated with training and conferences including registration fees, travel, lodging and meals are eliminated from the operating budget for a total of $15,000 over two years.
