CITY OF MORGAN HILL Capital Improvement Program

The Trash Provisions Compliance Project includes the following components:

-Completion of a Trash Compliance Strategy and Cost Analysis to identify the trash capture strategy that: a) complies with State requirements for trash capture; and b) represents the lowest cost of ownership over a 20- year period when considering all construction, operation, and maintenance costs. -Design/construction/installation of the required FCS devices in time for the 2030 compliance deadline, using

findings from the Trash Compliance Strategy and Cost Analysis as a guide. -Establishment of a Maintenance Schedule for all installed FCS devices.

Project Justification The project is necessary for compliance with the Statewide Trash Provisions.
