Project Description The City's fourteen (14) lift stations are periodically repaired and upgraded as part of the ongoing maintenance program. During FY 19/20, the design of the rehabilitation of Lift Station K & F's improvements were upgraded to be consistent with City Utilities standards for all lift station rehabilitation improvements. For FY 20/21, Lift Stations K & F's rehabilitation will be constructed to include: protective well coatings, new pump assemblies, motor controls, electrical components, and site access improvements. Additionally, there is approximately 3,200' of force main piping connected to Lift Stations K & F that must be replaced, as it is difficult to access and maintain the existing, failing pipe. Project Justification Routine maintenance and improvements are necessary to increase the longevity of the facilities and decrease the potential for failure.
