Project Description The project involves the construction of a new 0.25 million gallon storage reservoir at the existing Glen Ayre Tank site. This improvement includes the demolition of the existing Glen Ayre Tank (0.10 million gallon). Project Justification The City's 2017 Water System Master Plan plans the orderly construction of water system infrastructure intended to accommodate future growth, while maintaining adequate levels of service. The existing Glen Ayre storage tank does not meet the fire flow storage requirements included in the 2017 Water System Master Plan. This recommended tank includes capacity to meet the criteria in the master plan and account for infill residential development in the Glen Ayre pressure zone.
