Budget Overview

BUDGET TIMELINE The development of the budget is guided by the City of Morgan Hill ’ s strategic priorities, budget policies, long range fiscal sustainability, legal mandates, and service level prioritization. The budget process commences in January with the following goals in mind: • Align resources with City Council strategic priorities • Ensure sufficient revenues exist to deliver existing and proposed services and projects

• Prioritize both operational and capital expenditures • Advance the City ’ s commitment to fiscal sustainability
