Project Description This project has been established to provide for pedestrian and bicycle safety improvements at locations located throughout the City. It will be used to make improvements in areas where School Pedestrian Safety Funds are not available to use. Projects may include crosswalk enhancements, flashing signage, sidewalk repairs, bike lanes, signage and enhancements, traffic calming, and other improvements to facilitate pedestrian safety and bicycle safety. Project Justification The adoption of a Vision Zero action plan established a priority for increasing safety for pedestrians and bicyclists through engineered traffic safety enhancements.
