Project Description Constructed in 1994, the South County Regional Wastewater Authority (SCRWA) treatment plant continues to treat wastewater collected from the Cities of Morgan Hill and Gilroy. As growth continues to occur in the SCRWA service area, the capacity of the plant needs to be expanded. This project consists of plant improvements intended to increase the overall treatment capacity while also implementing new standards from the State Water Resources Control Board. Project Justification This project maintains adequate levels of service for the sewer system customers, as well as meets the regulatory requirements from the State Water Resources Control Board.
