Project Description Constructed in 1994, the South County Regional Wastewater Authority (SCRWA) treatment plant requires ongoing maintenance and improvement while also implementing new standards from the State Water Resources Control Board. Projects are identified in the FY 2018-2023 SCRWA Capital Improvement Budget and are funded through wastewater rate payers. Recent past projects have included the Aeration System and Secondary Clarifier. The new project for upcoming years is work on the recycled water reservoir. The City of Morgan Hill is responsible for 41.9% of the project costs. Project Justification Ongoing plant enhancements/expansion are performed to increase efficiency and reliability, and are necessary to maintain the plant's operating license.
