DANCING FUN PARENT ‘N ME CLASS A fabulous, fun and creative class for preschool readiness with silly songs and dancing games This is for energetic boys and girls Parent participation is requested Students & parents will use props to play games, stretch, sing songs and learn gross motor skills in this interactive class in-person with a vaccinated & California Credentialed instructor Teacher will provide a link to the playlist for students to use for practice all week long! *Participants should bring a water bottle and wear dance shoes or rubber tread socks Wear comfortable clothes like (leotards, leggings, sweatpants) which facilitate easy movement Parent participation is strongly encouraged, but no more than 1 adult per child enrolled *Some classes may be outside in fair weather so please wear sunscreen Instructor: April Gaylord Location: Community & Cultural Center, Mira Monte Room Activity# Date Day Time Age Sessions Elementary-middle school aged dancers will enhance their dance techniques and expand their acrobatic skills in this combo class Students will work on flexibility, turns, hand/head stands, bridges, and round-offs Students should have taken Preballet/Acro or an outside class in gymnastics before starting class and should be able to show the following skills: somersaults forward and backwards, monkey jump or cartwheel, and chaine turns The class may be invited to perform at local Morgan Hill events * Participants should bring a water bottle and wear dance shoes or rubber tread socks Wear comfortable clothes like leotards which facilitate easy movement Instructor: April Gaylord Location: Community & Cultural Center, Mira Monte Room Activity# Date Day Time Age Sessions FSI025 9/7-10/5 T 5:45pm-6:30pm 5 5-12yrs 5 FSI026 10/19-11/16 T 5:45pm-6:30pm 5 5-12yrs 5 Fees: $120 / $110 CRC Member WINTER PERFORMANCE DANCE PROGRAM Are you looking for a fun way to prepare for the holiday season? HIT & RUN BASEBALL Does your child love to swing a bat and throw the ball? This program is designed to develop the primary baseball skills of hitting, running, fielding and throwing all while maintaining a recreational and noncompetitive environment helping your child fall in love with the game, being active and developing confidence Players will want to bring their own baseball glove, but all other equipment is provided Each player receives positive instruction, games, official T-shirt and tons of fun!
