CITY OF MORGAN HILL FY 15-16 OPERATING AND CIP BUDGET CITY OF MORGAN HILL FY 15-16 OPERATING AND CIP BUDGET CITY OF MORGAN HILL FY 15-16 OPERATING AND CIP BUDGET CITY OF MORGAN HILL FY 15-16 OPERATING AND CIP CITY OF MORGAN HILL FY 15-16 OPERATING AND CIP BUDGET CITY OF MORGAN HILL FY 15-16 OPERATING AND CIP BUDGET CITY OF MORGAN HILL FY15-16 OPERATING AND CIP BUDGET o Utilize school safety funds collected from residential developers to develop projects that improve safety around schools o Continually seek for grants that will fund projects for adequate bike lanes, paths, and other amenities to enhance child pedestrian movement o Design and build water infrastructure projects that protect the potable water and fire protection supply for the community o Collaborate with MHUSD on PA Walsh circulation and access project Protecting the Environment o Design and build water infrastructure projects that help meet conservation goals o Pursue grants or otherwise support programs that promote complete streets with the goal of enhancing non-motorized vehicle transportation modes Participating in Regional Issues o On-going participation in the Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) Capital Improvements Program Sub- Committee o Participation in the South County Regional Wastewater Authority (SCRWA) and have a strong voice in operations, capital investment and budgeting discussions and decisions o Continued participation in the Santa Clara Valley Water District Uvas/Llagas and Coyote Creek Watershed Advisory Committees o Ongoing review and support for the Upper Llagas Flood Control project o Ongoing review and support for the Anderson Dam Seismic Retrofit project o Ongoing review and support for the County Expressway 2040 Study Improve Organizational Effectiveness and Transparency o Continuously seek improved quality control over project plans and specifications to reduce change orders o Seek ways to empower teammates at all levels to make appropriate decisions, thus improving efficiency o All applicable State and local purchasing ordinance policies are employed in the contracting methods
