Facilities Maintenance

Division Description The Public Services Department with support from various operating divisions is responsible for all major repairs, preventive maintenance, capital improvements, and future replacement schedules for all City facilities, including: • Community and Cultural Center (CCC) campus (010.2115) • Morgan Hill Dennis Kennedy Aquatics Center (010.2120) • Centennial Recreation Center (CRC) (010.2125) The Community Services Maintenance Team manages the day-to-day maintenance operations at all facilities, with the exception of the Police Department Building, which has day-to-day maintenance operations managed by the Police Department. In addition, the Fire Department manages maintenance operations for the two Fire Stations, and maintenance-related funding is included within their operational budget in the General Fund (010.3510).

Aquatics Center •

Replaced automatic pool winder

• Replaced pool chemical controller for instructional pool • Installed new pool deck surface in specific areas around facility • Resealed existing pool deck surface areas • Replaced pool cover for the catch pool • Retrofitted windscreen hardware • Repaired chlorine generator Centennial Recreation Center • Completed security camera improvements/additions • Replaced carpet in Senior Center • Replaced door in the family changing room hallway • HVAC repairs were completed • Painting throughout the facility was completed • Replaced Lobby and Senior Center lobby furniture
