 Conducted EOC tabletop exercise; scenario was an active shooter at a City facility  Coordinated Disaster Service Workers  Activated CERT to support COVID-19 testing and vaccination sites FY 2022-23 and 2023-24 Activity Goals  Develop Hazard Specific Annexes to the Emergency Operations Plan (Enhancing Public Safety; Preserving and Cultivating Public Trust)  Obtain Emergency Management Certification through the International Association of Emergency Managers (Enhancing Public Safety; Preserving and Cultivating Public Trust)  Develop and implement path for EOC team to obtain EOC position specific certification through Cal OES (Enhancing Public Safety; Preserving and Cultivating Public Trust)  Create criteria, train, and implement CERT Neighborhood Teams (Enhancing Public Safety; Preserving and Cultivating Public Trust)  Provide Emergency Shelter Training; Shelter Fundamentals and Shelter Management (Enhancing Public Safety; Preserving and Cultivating Public Trust)  Purchase of laptops for deployment during emergency activation using an Emergency Management Performance Grant in the amount of $19,600 (Enhancing Public Safety)  Purchase Long-Range Acoustical Device (LRAD) unit using Homeland Security Grant Funds in the amount of $17,500 (Enhancing Public Safety; Preserving and Cultivating Public Trust) Financial Comments OES will continue to seek homeland security grant opportunities for EOC equipment, emergency response equipment, and EOC training.
