Lincoln's Birthday and Veteran's Day holidays are "floating" holidays. City Offices will be open on both holidays. Employees must make arrangements with their Department Director to take two "floating" holidays during the fiscal year.

Reminder Employees have a half day holiday (2/3/4 hours) which should be taken one day during furlough, or the last day of scheduled work before the furlough. The tentative dates for 2023 end of year furlough starts Friday, December 22, 2023 returning to work on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
