Community Services (continued) bicycles and walk throughout Morgan Hill, to build a Bike Friendly Business program, and to educate the community about bike safety. Community engagement and messaging is a priority for the City of Morgan Hill, including strategic outreach developed to reach underserved and the most vulnerable residents. Connecting people to the community resources and engaging them in City recreation programs has been an ongoing and collaborative effort for the Division. Ensuring that our City continues to value youth by intentionally utilizing the 41 developmental assets as a framework for conversations, training, and decision making have all been part of our community outreach strategy. FY 2020-21 and 2021-22 Accomplishments  Transitioned the Senior Nutrition program to boxed to go lunches in March 2020 to ensure seniors continued to receive daily meals. Continued to provide this service throughout the pandemic  Rebranded the Get’n Around Town senior transportation to the RYDE program and received federal funding to help subsidize the operation  In partnership with the Youth Action Council, organized two successful virtual Youth Leadership Morgan Hill events in Summer 2021 and 2022  Received grant from Breathe California to implement an anti-vaping program through Youth Action Council (YAC)  Secured Measure B Innovative Transit grant funding through Valley Transportation Authority to initiate a new Citywide on-demand last mile service transportation service for the City  Facilitated virtual monthly Community Asset Builder (CAB) meetings to engage community based organizations FY 2022-23 and 2023-24 Activity Goals  Support the development and completion of the PRC’s and LCAC’s Council work plans (Supporting Our Youth, Seniors, and Entire Community; Preserving and Cultivating Public Trust)  Re-open the Senior Nutrition program indoor dinning and increase participation in senior programming to pre-Covid-19 participation numbers (Supporting Our Youth, Seniors, and Entire Community)  Create and manage a volunteer program for the Magical Bridge Playground in Community Park (Supporting Our Youth, Seniors, and Entire Community)  Continue to support the Friends of the Senior Center in growing the Senior Support Endowment Fund to ensure sustainability of Senior Center operations (Supporting Our Youth, Seniors, and Entire Community; Fiscal Sustainability)
