 Purchase of laptops for deployment during emergency activation  Bullet Proof Vest Partnership Grant - $6,000  Provides 50% of cost for bullet proof vests per Department’s replacement schedule During FY 2022-23, the Police Department will establish a Police Equipment Replacement Fund with an annual set aside of $100,000 for the eventual replacement of existing equipment and avoid fluctuations in the operating budget from year-to-year.

Included in this budget are salary adjustments and/or reclassifications of certain positions to address retention and recruitment issues that have been impacting the City.
