Project Description The purpose of this project is to improve the physical protection of the City’s utility facilities. This will include improvements in fencing, access systems, camera systems and other improvements. This will begin with improvements to the City’s essential infrastructure assets. Improvements will occur annually with available funding. This project aligns with the American Water Infrastructure Act (AWIA) and supports the City’s efforts to ensure protection of the City’s water supply.

Security fencing for the Glen Ayre, Woodland and Jackson Booster began at the end of FY 2023-24, and moving forward additional fencing and cameras will be implemented.

Project Justification T he project will help to enhance security for the City’s Utility System helping to ensure the City can continue to provide safe and efficient delivery of water service to the Morgan Hill Community.
