Project Location

Financial Comments Funding for the project is allocated from the Local Drainage Impact Fund (303). While Valley Water is constructing the project, the City has set aside funding to ensure that the project is constructed to offset impacts and to meet City and State requirements. This includes the construction of trash capture components and adjacent roadway improvements to ensure the project is fully completed within the watershed, meeting all requirements for the City. Operating Cost Impacts The majority of costs to operate and maintain the Upper Llagas Creek Flood Protection Project will be borne by the Santa Clara Valley Water District. It is not anticipated that City operational costs will be significantly impacted by the City constructed improvements associated with the project.
