Project Description This project will install approximately 110 small trash capture devices in existing storm drains to ensure no trash is allowed to pass through storm water systems into our waterways. Project Justification The City is required to demonstrate 100% compliance with the Trash Provisions by 2030. Full compliance with the Trash Provisions requires the City to install, operate, and maintain State-certified Full Capture System (FCS) devices that capture all trash down to 5 millimeters in size from defined Priority Land Use areas. These include all industrial, commercial, mixed-use, high-density residential, and public transportation station areas.
