CHILL OUT PROGRAM

TEEN TAP AGE: 12-18 Faster paced, more advanced class for young students. Expand your creative talents while building poise and self-confidence. Rhythm tap sessions include warm-ups; cross the floor exercises and dance routines. Attire: Leotard and tights, or tee shirt and athletic pants/tights, tap shoes. Held every Tuesday evening at the Morgan Hill Community & Cultural Center in the heart of Downtown, Chill Out is what started it all. Led personally by LATI founder Dori Prado, Chill Out aims to teach the youth about valuable life skills, each week focusing on a new lesson.

A great place to make new friends, Chill Out welcomes all young adults from age 12 to 21. Come be a part and come check out Chill Out any Tuesday, from 6pm to 7:30pm!

17TH ANNUAL 50+ BALL “ARABIAN NIGHTS” FUNDRAISER EVENT Join us on Saturday, April 26th, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Community and Cultural Center (CCC) for the highly anticipated 50+ Adult Ball, hosted by the Youth Action Council. Tickets are $35 and will be available starting February 3rd at the Senior Center Welcome Desk of the Centennial Recreation. This event is a favorite, drawing over 180 adults aged 50 and above, along with more than 20 enthusiastic teen volunteers who will serve as waitstaff. Expect an evening filled with community spirit, featuring performances, dancing, souvenir photos, delicious food, and much more! ■ ATTENTION TEENS aged 13-19: You can be part of this unforgettable experience! To get involved, please reach out to our YAC Advisor, Chiquy Mejia, at chiquy.mejia@mhcrc.com. A mandatory Teen Volunteer Orientation will take place on the day of the event, Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 2 PM to 3 PM at the CCC, dinner will be provided.
