CREATIVE WRITING We all have a story to tell. Come and share yours in this small and friendly group. No writing talent necessary! Just come and enjoy sharing and listening to stories. A booklet with writing contributions from class members will be created at the end of the class. It includes a view of the inventors and the technological developments that led to the modern motion picture, as well as a historical perspective on the growth and development of the cinema, including significant films that contributed to its establishment as an art form. This course includes a study of film genres, such as comedy, musical, and western. It also touches upon the technology of image and sound and looks at the basic technique’s filmmakers use when the attempt to convey a meaning. This session will focus on foreign films.
