50+ FUNCTIONAL FITNESS This group exercise class provides a supportive and safe environment to help increase one’s strength, flexibility and balance. This class is taught by our fitness specialists with an expertise in working with active older adults. Instruments that will help participants maintain and increase strength, flexibility and balance include chairs, lightweight handheld dumb bells, resistance tubing and stability balls. Balance exercises may also include extensions of legs from chairs or performing wall squats with the use of a stability ball.
