Law Enforcement Tobacco Grant - $561,000 Provides salary and benefits for 1FTE School Resource Officer for 3 years, overtime hours for officers for tobacco enforcement activities at festivals and events, teen peer-to-peer education and awareness outreach Tobacco Decoy Grant – $64,000 Sub-recipient of a state grant awarded to the County the provides officer overtime hours to conduct tobacco retail decoy operations to prohibit sales to those under 21 Domestic Violence Grant - $50,000 Sub-recipient of a 2-year grant awarded to Community Solutions for the staffing of the Family Justice Center with police detective Selective Traffic Enforcement Program - $43,000 Provides funds to conduct DUI checkpoints, directed enforcements, saturation patrols and education and awareness workshops to keep impaired drivers off our roadways Emergency Performance Grants - $17,400 Provides computer equipment and training and planning enhancements for emergency preparedness and disaster response, including video switch project for Emergency Operations Center California Violence & Intervention Program $11,500 Sub-recipient of a grant awarded to the City of Gilroy to conduct violence prevention and intervention activities for at-risk and gang involved youth and families including the Parent Project – parent education curriculum
