FY 2020-21 and 2021-22 Activity Goals  Continuation and Funding for “Focus” Safe Park Program  Continuation and Funding for Cold Weather Inclement Shelter Program  Seek dedicated South County Case Management Worker(s), funding opportunities  Collaborate with Santa Clara County and local farmers to help find a site for, fund, and build migrant farmworker housing  Collaborate with Mid-Pen Housing to locate a site for “The Treehouse,” a multi age housing project that will service low income seniors, and families adopting foster kids  Collaborate with First Community Housing to create a 100% affordable project to aid in achieving very low income RHNA goals  Continue to build a South County homeless response system that integrates County Safety Net Services  Continue to contract with Rebuilding Together to rehab and repair homes for low-income Seniors and help with City-wide blight  Continue to contract with HouseKeys to facilitate the management of the City’s Below Market Rate homeowner/market rate rental inclusionary program  Continue monitoring and building of the City’s Below Market Rate Rental Portfolio programs and strategies for increasing affordable housing production in Morgan Hill  Collaborate with Santa Clara County and the City of Gilroy to continue to build a South County homeless response system that integrates County Safety Net Services and provides rapid response to people in need. The City will continue to employ a balanced approach, offering resources and referrals to services, partnering with the faith-based community and non -profits to create appropriate local service points, while also utilizing code compliance to protect private and public property.  Prepare the close of 5th Housing Cycle and new Statewide 6th Housing Cycle. The City will spend the next two years developing an updated Housing Element and Environmental Justice Element of the General Plan to respond to new production and social justice mandates required by the State of California. The City will actively participate in the development of the formula and allocations of “fair share” housing unit assignments.  Respond to the Governor’s 2020 Homelessness initiatives by advocating for direct local dollars and direct access to funding for communities of less than 50,000 population  Seek out partnerships with non-profit housing developers to create new housing opportunities directly aligned with the City’s “fair share” Regional Housing Needs Allocation (RHNA)  Work with the non-profit owner of affordable units to rehabilitate and extend the life of vital housing supplies at Depot Common, the Willows, Skeels Hotel, and Villa Ciolino Financial Comments The revenue needed to fund the City’s housing programs is now directly aligned with the health of two funds: The Housing In-lieu Fee Fund (Fund 236) and the Successor Agency Housing Fund (Fund 255). The Successor Agency Housing Fund will receive program income from the Agency’s
