Observations:

 The overall mean number of responding units was 1.8 for other-initiated calls and 1.4 for police-initiated calls.  The mean number of responding units was as high as 2.3 for arrest calls that were other- initiated.

 52 percent of other-initiated calls involved one responding unit.

 29 percent of other-initiated calls involved two responding units.

 20 percent of other-initiated calls involved three or more responding units.

 The largest group of calls with three or more responding units involved suspicious incidents.
