Project Description Install bike lanes on Main Avenue between Butterfield Boulevard and Condit Road, widen two sections of roadway to install pedestrian sidewalks, and add green bike lane pavement markings at El Toro School. A Transportation Fund for Clean Air (TFCA) grant application was submitted in March 2018 for $65,100. The road widening and sidewalks portion will be paid for out of School Pedestrian & Traffic Safety Funds (355). This project will include the addition of sidewalks on Main Avenue next to El Toro School providing for increased pedestrian access to the school site. Project Justification The Bikeways, Trails, Parks and Recreation Master Plan lists the Main Avenue bike lane project as a recommended high priority connection project.
