Financial Comments This project cost has increased significantly over the past years. This cost is driven by increases in construction costs and increased land values. Estimates have risen from $9.45 to $14.5 million for construction. Property acquisition costs are over $2 million more than originally anticipated. In order to complete the property acquisition in FY 2018/19, an interfund loan would be required. For the construction to be completed, additional funding must be obtained from the County via Measure B or another funding source.
