Project Description The scope of this project encompasses essential studies, planning documents, and assessments to maintain and optimize the City's water system. Key tasks identified for this effort include:

1. Urban Water Management Plan Updates 2. Water Supply Planning 3. Water System Master Plan Updates

1. Urban Water Management Plan Updates The City's Urban Water Management Plan, most recently updated in 2016, is intended to meet the regulatory requirements of the California Urban Water Management Planning Act and subsequent amendments. This compliance document tracks urban water use and compares that use to available water supplies for a 20-year planning horizon. It should be updated every 5 years. 2. Water Supply Planning New water wells are required to meet the City's water supply needs. The new wells also provide necessary reliability during drought conditions.

To increase available water sources and to provide for more reliability during the drought, the City has previously accelerated the replacement of two poorly performing wells (Boys Ranch #2 and Jackson #3), accelerated the
